Well, DUH!

Sometimes I have a great idea...

Then soon afterward, someone has a way better idea!  A week or two ago, I posted what I thought was a VERY nifty idea for graduate cookies.

Then, a few days later, I see these {of course this is my version} on one of my favorite cookie blogs, LilaLoa.

So, I'm here to say, FORGET what I said two weeks ago and follow these instructions from Lila Loa!

Best idea ever!  Why piece together cookies, when you can use one easily accessible cutter and accomplish the same thing?  Perfect size, easier, AND as cute as can be!

I totally wish I had thought of this!

  9. I have been following your blog for awhile and got some grate tips from your amazing cookie art! By the way; did you know that angry bird is from Finland?
I don't make decorated cookies very often; it takes so much time but getting better should have more practice. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get those little piping bottles on this side of the ocean. Many good wishes for the summer!

  12. Well honestly, between the 2 of you, your humble audience is always awed by your clever use of cutters.  I am consciously trying to envision other ideas, looking carefully at invitations and papers and learning to be more inspired and not quite so literal....you are both amazing!
